Indoor Air Sanitizing

While filtering uses physical barriers to stop the movement of particles, sanitization uses science to clean the air. HVAC air purification utilizes multiple technologies to clean the air and works with your existing or additional filtering systems. RGF has created several products that utilize multiple technologies to accomplish the goal of sanitizing the air stream.

RGF air sanitizerPhotohydroionization® (PHI) is an active air treatment technology. Active air treatment is the process of reducing air and surface contaminants by recreating safe, natural levels of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in occupied areas. This process creates a sanitizing effect that inactivates or kills biologic contaminants like viruses and bacteria. Additionally, ionization imparts positive and negative charges on pollen, dust, viruses, and other indoor air pollutants as they pass through the airstream. Oppositely charged particles stick together and are trapped by filters or fall to the floor. RGF systems have been proven to be over 99.9% effective at eliminating the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19.

RGF manufactures several offerings, from the portable HALO-ROVE for rooms without forced air HVAC systems, to the REME HALO and REME LED systems that are installed in-duct, to the commercially scalable RGF-PKG units that can be installed on roof-top units to sanitize an entire building.
